Christmas Festival Concert 2021

Due to ongoing Queensland border restrictions,
the NRSO is unable to perform our planned concert program with the full orchestra.
However, we are delighted to host a special Northern Rivers event,
to be performed by our NSW-based string ensemble and pianist.
We hope our audience will be able to join us for a Christmas celebration!
Program includes a variety concert with a selection of pieces and soloists featuring:
PIANIST: Ayesha Gough, performing Chopin’s “Ballade No. 1”
VIOLINIST: Hugh Won, performing Dvorak’s “Humoresque” and Massenet’s “Meditation”
VOCALIST: Lyn McBurney, performing The Holy City
NRSO STRING ENSEMBLE performing music by Puccini, Gershwin, Mozart, Mascagni, Myers, and some Christmas Carols.
